this week's a pretty slack one, which explains why I haven't been doing work since last week ended.. or specifically, after OB assignment was submitted in the wee hours of Thursday.
sigh.
it seems like i'm not doing enough no matter what. it got so serious to the extent of an official warning? i have no idea what happened, that it all became so serious.. i guess it's the perspectives of others? but anyways i guess i just have to step up a lot more and be more vocal i guess? hopefully things wouldn't get out of hand because i'm so afraid that i'll get screwed over even after contributing to the hall..
this has been swimming in my mind everyday right now :(

#331 hell week
half of this week's over, and i'm so happyyyy.
2 quizzes over, one presentation and OB assignment left! at least the quizzes are over *breathes* am currently in FAL waiting for Derrick's OB class to finish so that our marketing group can meet and settle the 5% presentation tomorrow.. we just finalized a product last night and we are presenting tomorrow already hahaha (screwed)
shall complete my stats tutorial now!! and hopefully do up more of OB assignment which i have been putting off for so long :/ really bad habit of mine to put off stuff that i don't want to do. i've been delaying this since CNY when i actually wanted to at least do half of it? hopefully tomorrow after marketing i can really focus and use a good few hours to finish it up for good to submit! then it will be the long awaited weekend alr! *confetti*
really can't wait for OB assignment to be overrr :)

thankful to those around me who have always helped me; i will be eternally grateful :)

finally done with critical thinking assignment at FIVE IN THE MORNING hahaha. was damn tired but nevertheless a huge weight was lifted off :') not too sure if my essay's up to standard but i'm sooo glad that it's over! super thankful to li xuan and wilson, who helped me a lot!! :):)
next week's gonna be much more relaxing i guess. i'm gonna appreciate next week a lot whew. HOCC next wed on the 26th, excited for the dancers! michy is dancing for hall 4 hehe gonna look out for her!!
i hope this weekend will feel as long as possible, am so looking forward to tomorrow cos i'm meeting Nick ^^

#330 Valentines' Day
the yearly Feb 14 has come and gone, and i feel really blessed to have been through 4 with Nick so far :)
even if you are single or attached, Valentines' Day is a day to spread the love to your dearest ones; to show them that you care! take these few days to show appreciation and love, and it will put a smile on your loved ones' faces.
today we headed to Upper Peirce (why is it spelled this way?) Reservoir for a lovely picnic with buys from JP NTUC! it wasn't cheap haha we spent 24 on good quality food like smoked salmon which was absolutely yums. we also encountered monkeys which were initially extremely adorable to me. but they revealed their true nature when one of them attempted to lure us away by leading us in a circle around the pavilion and then rushed in to try to snatch away a backpack. i was totally dazed by what the monkey did, and disappointed as well sigh.
but we took quite a number of shots of the monkeys because some were so small and cute! they would hang onto their parents as they walk around, upside down hehe. too cute. shall post a 'national geographic' worthy photo by nick soon :)
dinner was at RamenPlay, and i've concluded that it is totally not worth it to spend on a meal over there. food wasn't fantastic, and we waited over 40 minutes for one bowl of ramen (which tasted like instant noodles) which i thought was utterly ridiculous when they were not even thaaaat busy. am currently debating with myself whether to write in a complaint email to the management..
enough ranting.
dessert was at Max Brenner, which i have been wanting to try for the longest time!! i remember when i saw people having the 3 fondues at the Vivocity branch, i would always sneak closer to have a look hehehe. finally tried it and we both think that its damn good! but as a dessert, it can def feed more than 2! we polished it all because we only shared one bowl of ramen for dinner due to the filling picnic in the late afternoon. there were strawberries, bananas, marshs, cookies and choc cake to go with the toffee, dark choc and milk choc fondues! the chocs were super rich and good! loved it to bits hehe. :)
well so that's about it for my simple and awesome Valentines' Day this year, and i really enjoyed this day out!

#329 HAPPY CNY EVERYONE!
how has everyone's holiday been so far? :)
i've seen tons and tons of photos being uploaded on Facebook/instagram and i feel that life's good for everyone :) i've been enjoying myself immensely and am really lacking in photos on my part.
nick doesn't take photos too because in the first place, he doesn't even own a camera phone haha. so today we took shots at home with my camera, which i'll upload some other time.
everyone's looking so pretty/handsome now! hehe^^
happy chu san gaiz, enjoy the holiday while it lasts! CNY's all about the angpows, eating and making merry!
oh, and today's my dear roomie's birthday. (okay actually it's after 12 already but whatever. her birthday's on 11 feb alright) HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL!

#328 LONG WEEKEND
it's a long long weekend ahead everyone! here's to all: A VERY HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR :))
i don't have school today, but TGIF too!
this week has been a busy one with much work undone, due to the fact that we had the Inter Hall Cheer Competition! stayed at src from morning till 12+AM to prepare and pack up thereafter for the cheer teams.
Champions of IHCC 2013 are..
HALL 10 RAZERS! whoohoo!
so super proud of them; the long hours of trainings every night paid off for them :')
proud of all the halls too actually, they all did splendid too! so many looks of awe were given by the audience, and you could see the pride on the cheerleaders' faces as they did their very best for this one event that they have all been training so hard for!
R-A-Z-E-R-S WE ARE RAZERS!

lorraine and I were standing in the midst of the other halls around us and when the hosts asked who we thought were the winners, many halls cheered for hall 10 too and I felt so touched for the support other halls gave us! :)
okay now it's gonna be CNY already, hope that everything would go smoothly for everyone! :)

learning to be thankful for what i have, and reflecting about life constantly. there are still regrets here and there, but i just need to know that i have tried my best in the things i've done and everything else will fall into place. all will be fine because i have You.

though, i have a makeup OB lesson on CNY eve sigh haha. oh well, my week ends on Thursday 12PM and at the end of Wed, HOOC will be over :) can't wait to watch the different cheer performances from every hall after putting up the decorations~
