#289 delay

am going to delay the big post again, and this is a really bad habit. i should stop procrastinating.

stay-home day today, and now i'm actually having second thoughts about what i've initially decided on. oh nooo what's happening to me? i want to go for both so badly now but i can't this is upsetting :(

shopping tomorrow! some people bought so much today, and it is making me feel excited about what i would be able to buy tomorrow *dances around* BUT i am extremely broke so i HAVE TO curb my spending! no income this month and next month at all, and expenses will shoot up because camps are coming!

am actually looking forward to university life :) but it is pretty sad that nick and i would have to be apart for longer times once the term commences.. oh well. we'll meet halfway everytime then! or he could come visit ^^

actually i uploaded the whole album onto facebook already but i locked it after something happened. it wasn't very pleasant so i shall not disclose it. i wish i could just forget about it. PMS is a bitch.

#288 update!

hi, i'm not going to post a full post about our anniversary because i haven't transferred photos yet!

but the 2 days were awesome. like seriously really really good :) felt like nothing else mattered at all, except the time spent together doing nonsense/having fun!

shall do up a full post soon with pictures.

went to run with euge today, and i think i suck. hopeless runner.

saw cute Japanese Spitz puppies! at simei pet shop. too cute to be true, makes everyone melt!!!!

it's pretty sad because this year we don't get to spend the actual day together.. but i know we'll have an awesome time when you get to book out!

three years.. it seems like a long time but time really flies. i feel like we've been through much together and i'm glad for all of it :)

#285 Glee.

just watched the last 2 episodes of Glee (i am slow, i know) it was emotionally grueling, seriously. i felt like i was on an emotional rollercoaster.

i guess people hardly feel this way when they watch shows? i'm not too sure but i hardly feel this way when i watch shows! movies have more impact on me, perhaps. i remembered crying at the last part of Click. even when i watched it for the second, third time?

ah but this ending was so sad, seriously:(

Prometheus with euge and ding yesterday, (spoilers!) and the story seemed so stupid. the start and the end seemed so carelessly put together.. and gore was rampant.. okay perhaps rampant might be too strong a word but lasering your own abdomen and pulling out a disgusting alien form from your tummy isn't exactly pleasant to watch. and of course the freaking gross worm alien will win. anything that attacks you from inside is bound to win. they screw up your insides and you can't do anything about it so of course you die.

guys next time when you see an unknown creature staring at you, run away and not attempt to make any contact with it at all.

dinner at euge's thereafter, and we hung around till cheryl came! she just touched down and came for us in a short time! and she got me a phone cover^^

okay tuition later, and i was supposed to go and run with euge later but she can't, so.. i should get my lazy ass down to run right? okay i should.

#284 food and more food.

watched first two Euro matches but not the Germany-Portugal and Denmark-Netherlands one sigh.

headed to Momoya for buffet lunch after sleeping over at Nick's. barely slept at all i really have insomnia despite it being 4:'(

Momoya was.. alright. i still prefer buffet town but this has a wide variety of japanese foods! i am using blogger app so i cannot put photos and continue shall just post all at the end. don't really have photos also anyway most are on my cammie!

fell sick with bad flu so slept 12 hours last night! 10+ to 10+. awesome sleep seriously.

had crab feast with my family and Nick for dinner today! black pepper and chilli crabs! with other zi char dishes as well^^

#283 new cammie!

i got a new sony camera today! technically it's not even from IT fair because they don't even have a booth there. stupid maximum.

and we went to peixuan's SUTD hostel after that! my camera takes really nice photos i shall upload soon when i can! (read: am feeling not lazy enough to actually connect the camera to my laptop)

#282 snow white/dinper.

went to Nex yesterday and watched Snow White and the Huntsman! i thought that it was a pretty good movie except for the ending.. it was kind of abrupt for me. ended too quickly.

Charlize Theron is simply stunning. i remember reading about her acting in this movie called Monster back in 2003/4/5? i only remember it was primary school days. she had to gain 25kg (?) to portray her character and almost a decade later, she looks so pretty!

photo on top is her fatter self, with no make up but ~10 years younger. i think her character was a serial killer of some sort.

oh so back to Snow White. (spoilers)

 i don't really understand why they named the movie 'Snow White and the Huntsman' it didn't seem to me that the huntsman really was a huntsman? he tracked her for none but 5 minutes before standing on her side, doesn't seem like a keen hunter does he? but i loved his blue eyes!

and what was the big white reindeer? i didn't really get that whole part but the woodland animals were really really cute.

Charlize Theron was awesome as the queen i felt that she played the role really well. her brother in the show had weird hair though (apparently from young as in the flashbacks he had same hair too) she was so vicious and really went all out to hunt Snow White down. 

Kristen Stewart.. well she showed more expression here than in the Twilight saga but as a princess who wants to kill the evil queen and save her people, she seems to lack the fight in her somehow? i don't know maybe it's just her style.

OH AND WHY WAS THERE A WHITE HORSE LYING ON THE BEACH FOR HER TO RIDE OFF IN THE BEGINNING AFTER SHE ESCAPED?? so convenient!

throughout the movie i kept telling Nick, 'hey this looks like Skyrim!!' because Snow White could just pick up a random horse and ride it away, the scenery was just like that in Skyrim (mountains and hills and snowy places too) and you would stumble into villages of people too (the women who scratched their faces and lived above water) similarities with Lord of the Rings too! the fighting scene especially when the good people barged into the city to fight the bad guys! and William was shooting arrows (like how Orlando Bloom does in LOTR!)

the movie's pretty great (despite some complaints) go watch it :)

okay this is really lengthy but today's a nua Sunday so i can spare lots of time to blog^^

before the movie we went to walk around and went to the library to browse through books too the library's really new i want to go back again! after the movie we headed to Chomp Chomp! for dinper (dinner+supper as it was already 9+/10)

we had (left to right) sugar cane, sambal stingray, carrot cake, lala and kai lan! to be honest, nothing that 85 doesn't offer. but the carrot cake is pretty darn good.

prawn mee that we had to wait for half an hour! there are 2 stalls of prawn mee at Chomp Chomp. i have tried both and this one's the bomb for me!

tried lala for the first time ever! really fresh so there isn't the fishy smelly smell!

satay! it was okayyyyy i guess but Simpang has nicer satay.

yeah so i want to head back for the prawn mee and carrot cake only! everything else would be more convenient at 85! go to 85 to eat everyone, good food awaits you there~

oh and i am so upset because the coin part of my Guy Laroche wallet tore off. what the hell man i've been using this wallet for barely 2 months only.. i really hope that it can be fixed.

oh yeah and i think i mentioned that Nick wouldn't be out right? it was a nice surprise that he booked out! though we spent lots and lots on food (as usual) but i'm glad i got to spend time with him. i cancelled plans with Euge though and i feel terrible about it :/

first tuition session yesterday went pretty okay and her house is really quite near thank goodness!

okay i'm done blogging i feel like napping again even though i just woke up at 1230, barely 3 hours ago.

#281 cable cars

this is so fricking cool. it's kind of like Luge Skyride i guess but the colours are so pretty here. i'm reminded of the genting cable car ride too, and this leads me to think of how tingwei was so super embarrassed when we played monopoly deal!!

last day of work at Braun Buffel today, and Elyn was so nice (: she bought me chocolate eclairs during her break and shooed me off to eat them during my break. i will miss her :') although this job kind of sucks because it's tiring standing for so long, i will miss seeing people who i always see and talk to while working.

the luggage aunty. she is so nice haha she helped me with a crazy bitch customer and told Elyn on wednesday that i met with a mad woman the next morning. she always looks out for my counter when i'm not around too (:

Jayson. he likes taylor swift too second last day of work we were both singing to the soundtrack because there were no customers around! and i remember on the second day of work he helped me to wipe all my counter's glass surfaces when i was so clueless about cleaning. he is so nice^^

the rest of the people i don't really know but whatever haha first experience working retail!

i think i spend way too much time doing personal stuff like taking the rough paper and listing things down, reading and texting/using phone. finished quite a number of books during work!!

no more work from now on=no more money this is bad. how to survive GSS like this? i've got so much that i want to buy! (downside of BB job: low pay :/) time to do some financial planning. shall not buy redundant items! but with at least 3 shopping trips lined up................ ah well.

i can't believe it. this year it wouldn't be the same for us at all despite all efforts to make it seem normal ):
